As amazing as the PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16 are, the most standard models available sadly come lacking a direct RGB out signal. While both are capable of providing pixel perfect visuals, the PC Engine was limited to RF out whilst the US equivalent came with just the red/yellow/white composite ports. To remedy this, a cheap do-it-yourself solution has arrived on the market, allowing those confident with a soldering iron to gift their NEC consoles with an all new RGB out port.
