I’ve been playing Cannon Fodder on my A2000, which is every bit as fun as I remember – but I can’t seem to make it recognize my keyboard, which is making saving the game impossible.
I’ve got some new blank 2DD floppies which it will format (after some persuasion – I presume my drives are a little old). But on trying to save, it asks me for a name. I can usually type one character, but then it refuses to let me type any more or proceed. I can exit the save screen and carry on playing, but no keyboard inputs have any noticeable effect – I can’t pause or surrender.
I’m using an A2630 with a 68030; I’ve tried disabling caches in the early startup menu to no avail. I also have an A2091 with a hard drive and CD-RW attached – I’m booting from floppy as I don’t have the chip RAM to WHDLoad.
My keyboard works fine in Workbench and other software seems to recognize it as well.
Any help would be most appreciated!
