This Sunday, 15th November 2015, the first ever London Gaming Market is being held at the Royal National Hotel in Russell Square, London. For £5 early entry or £2 standard entry, you’ll be able to browse the gaming wares of a variety of traders. We caught up with Andy Brown to ask him a few questions about the event:
Why choose London as a location?
We wanted to launch a market that wouldn’t conflict existing events and would attract a new audience rather than our existing customer base. London was the logical choice!
Will modern games be available to buy or is it all retro?
We are not restricting it to retro and there will definitely be some sellers bringing last gen games.
How will this compare to previous events you’ve been involved with?
We are offering a single day shopping experience, both for the retailer and customer, without the overheads or trappings of a larger event. Tables are priced at a very reasonable £65 and trading at the LGM is open to everyone – full time retailers, eBayers and individuals looking to thin out their collection. We don’t anticipate the same visitor numbers as some of our bigger gaming events however every single person who attends the LGM is there for just one reason – to shop!
