Square Enix has detailed the Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Collector’s Edition, and I hope you’ve got $350 to spare.
Over on the Square Enix store website, the publisher confirmed the contents and price for the Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Collector’s Edition. To get the bad news out of the way, it’s going to be $350, which already puts it on the high end for collectors editions – barring the really ridiculous ones. This is made even worse for the UK; it’s going to be £350 even though that’s not how conversion rates work at all (£350 roughly translates to $472).
But what are you getting for all of that? Obviously, the game itself, alongside the Deluxe Edition content which is set to feature two DLC expansions – one featuring Sephiroth and another starring Vincent and the Turks. On top of that, the Deluxe Edition features a CD mini-soundtrack, a hardcover artbook, and an exclusive steelbook with art from all three games in the trilogy. Each physical edition comes with a Magic: The Gathering card titled Final Showdown, too.
As for the Collector’s Edition itself? You’re getting the physical deluxe edition, and a separate box featuring the only exclusive addition. This is a statue featuring Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth (who are 6.7 in, 7.1 in, and 7.9 inches tall, respectively), all posing with their weapons next to each other.
This collector’s edition is only available for console players, with Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 being the only options. So if you want to play the game on Steam, you might have to grab a console copy to get this statue.
