Since this first convention, there have been a number of other steampunk conventions that have sprung up around the world, such as the Steampunk World’s Fair in New Jersey, Steamcon in Seattle and Up in the Aether in Dearborn, MI. The largest event in Europe is the “Weekend at the Asylum” which occurs at The Lawn in Lincoln every September.
