Get Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee For Free Right Now

Remember Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee? That game was a mighty fine puzzle-platformer back in the late Nineties, and it’s still a lot of fun today. If you’ve never played it, the game casts you as Abe, a Mudokon slave who learns of a plot to turn himself and the rest of his kind into tasty meat treats. Your goal is to guide his escape from RuptureFarms and save as many of his fellow Mudokons as possible. The success of the game led to a series of Oddworld sequels including Abe’s Exoddus, Munch’s Oddysee and Stranger’s Wrath, as well as a remake project in more recent times.

If Abe’s Oddysee sounds like your sort of game and you want a copy of it for the PC, today’s your lucky day. GOG.com is offering a DRM-free copy of the game for free to all site users as part of a site-wide sale – all you need is an account and it’s yours. To grab it, click here to go to the game’s store page on GOG.com. You’ll need to be quick though, as the offer only lasts for 48 hours.

One last thing: If you enjoy Abe’s Oddysee, consider grabbing Abe’s Exoddus too – it’s part of the sale, down to $1.49 (usual price: $5.99).
