Lemmings: The Ports Now Available

lemmings_bookLemmings has to be one of the most widely-ported videogames in history, with official versions appearing on a huge variety of platforms, from the low-powered likes of the Game Boy to the PlayStation and beyond. Now, in the lead-up to the game’s 25th anniversary in 2016, a book has been produced comparing every version of the timeless favourite.

As well as information on each of the versions, Lemmings: The Ports contains interviews with developers from DMA Design, level maps and even information on cancelled games. The 304-page full colour book is available from Castle Books as either a PDF (£10.00) or a physical edition (£30.00).

If you’re wondering about our own coverage of the diminutive green-haired rodents, you can pick up issue 85 for a history of the Lemmings series, and read about the making of the first two games in issue 39. Both are available as digital editions from GreatDigitalMags.com.
