Smacky Cars Helps Drive Retro Gaming Trend to Full-Blown Addiction

The free app takes a simple concept – dodging oncoming cars – and presents an-easy-to-use game with one-touch controls that can be played in short segments, and it’s obvious why “Smacky Cars” is a ‘hit’ with gaming fans.

User reviews echo the “Smacky Cars” excitement: “This game is INSANELY addictive!” says one user. “Graphics and gameplay work together well for many hours of adventure”, says another, as scores of users discover their “new favorite game” keeps them on the road for the most fun they’ve ever had in traffic.

“’Smacky Cars’ is merely about enjoying downtime in line with a whimsical game that entertains and challenges you,” said Capedy LLC’s CEO and founder Toni Vlaic. “Our gaming apps stimulate the brain and keep the mind fit, and we’re thrilled mobile gamers are discovering how simple one-touch games can be so gratifying.”

As PC and console gaming trends inch toward more realistic graphics and complex gameplay, smartphone gamers’ demands are quite the opposite. Basic ‘80s and ‘90s retro arcade-style games are all the rage on mobile devices, and “Smacky Cars” gives users that quick adrenaline fix as they impulsively navigate to their next high score.
