London, UK (PRWEB) August 21, 2014

SuperAwesome has today announced that Outfit7 Limited, the entertainment company behind the global phenomenon Talking Tom and Friends, has partnered with The Future8 Awards to exclusively sponsor its Mobile App Category – aimed at aspiring app developers aged 7-17.

Launched in partnership with The Guardian, The Future8 Awards aim to find the top 7-17 year-old digital creators in the UK and Ireland. The awards have attracted a huge number of entries across the eight categories with inbound interest from kids, parents and teachers alike. Each prize is a life-changing opportunity provided by the category sponsor in question.

Outfit7 made mobile history when Talking Tom and Friends became the fastest entertainment app series to reach 300 million downloads, just 19 months after its launch. Now, with over 1.7 billion downloads and 230 million monthly active users for its flagship brand, Outfit7 is one of the world’s biggest media entertainment companies and perfectly placed to offer the winner of The Future8 Mobile App Award a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Iza Login, Deputy CEO and Co-Founder of Outfit7 Limited, will join the highly skilled line-up of Future8 judges, which includes Shannon Cullen, Publisher at Puffin, Penguin Random House UK, Jo Scalpello, Head of Partnerships at Blinkbox, and Eric Huang, Head of Development at Made in Me.

The winner of The Future8 Mobile App Award, along with their guardian, will be flown out to Outfit7’s creative and technology hub in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where they will gain an insightful introduction into all facets of app creation. The winner will experience first hand all the different stages of app development from initial insight, concepts and artwork to testing and marketing. Outfit7 will also arrange for the winner to visit some of the country’s most beautiful attractions.

Iza Login, Deputy CEO and Co-Founder at Outfit7 Limited, said: “We’re delighted to be taking part in the Future8 Awards, helping to motivate and encourage young talent. Here at Outfit7 we are committed to developing imaginative and innovative products, from idea to reality, so we are excited about the opportunity to help inspire the next generation of app developers.”

Dylan Collins, CEO of SuperAwesome, said: “We are very excited to welcome Outfit7 on board as our Mobile App Category Sponsor. The Talking Tom and Friends franchise is a global phenomenon and it’s hugely popular amongst our audience of 7-17 year olds. Access to Outfit7’s expertise and knowledge of this sector is an exceptional opportunity for any young app developer and we look forward to working together to find a creative star.”
