Is it hard to beat dungeon master ?

Hi all :

A long time ago, I played a game called dungeon master on my amiga 500.
I did not get very far, but I enjoyed the game immensely.
I loved it, and it became one of my favorite games.
A few years ago I gave it away (original copy) because I had not anymore
an amiga that would play it.
Now that I have an amiga 2000, I am thinking about getting another
copy of dungeon master (legit) to play again.
Will it be hard to beat dungeon master ?
I am aware that there is a text and video walkthu online on how to win.
Will it be hard to win with the walkthru ?
And/or will it be hard to beat without the walkthru, if I just play for fun
long hours without any hints ?
I am looking forward to play this game again.
Thank you all !!!
