If you’re not a fan of Pang, you might well be a fan of its overseas releases as Buster Bros or Pomping World – and if you’re not yet, we strongly urge you to check out the old entries in the series because there’s a brand new entry on the way!

DotEmu has received the blessing of Mitchell Corporation to create a new entry in the series, and has hired Pastagames (best known for Pix The Cat and Rayman Jungle Run) to do it. The result is Pang Adventures, a brand new game with new ideas added to the  spirit of the arcade original, featuring co-op play (offline too, as is important) and all-new power-ups including shurikens, flamethrowers and lasers. You can check out a trailer for the new game above – it’s scheduled to arrive on April 19th for PS4, Xbox One, PC and mobile.

If you’re not familiar with DotEmu, the French publisher has made waves in the mobile and PC retro gaming markets recently, handling a variety of releases including the first two R-Type games and much of SNK’s recent Neo Geo 25th Anniversary bundle.
