Just before Christmas the Play Blackpool tickets have gone on sale. Last year, as well as the wildly successful Play Expo, Replay Events returned to their spiritual home of the Norbreck Castle in Blackpool for the two day event, this upcoming May.

Play Blackpool 2014

Last year saw a range of sections all dedicated to classic and indie gaming. With a room dedicated to traders, there was also areas dedicated to a classic arcade games, with a massive range of games, as well as tables dedicated to all sorts of home consoles, a multiplayer area, as well as celebrities and a cosplay area.

As great as Play Expo is (and it is), there is something special with the Blackpool event. It’s a lot smaller but is also a lot easier to get onto the machines, and it feels a lot less overwhelming, furthermore, in the town of Blackpool, it’s a lot of fun exploring the Golden Mile.

This year also see the launch of Replay Rewards, a dedicated membership scheme that gives you 10% off tickets and merchandise, as well as discounts with selected partners.

Where To Get Play Blackpool Tickets

Tickets start at £13 for Adults for one day, to £30 for the entire three days (Mondays included as a new day as well). There are also children tickets as well. I’m planning to attend the event, I hope to see you there!
