World Class Collective Football T-Shirts Arrive at Atom Retro

Scarborough, North Yorkshire (PRWEB UK) 20 May 2014

With the World Cup just a few short weeks away, online retro fashion retailer, Atom Retro have vamped up the retro football inspiration by introducing a cool collection of ‘old skool’ soccer T-shirts in the form of ‘The World Class Collective Football Legends Collection.’

World Class Collective commissioned Manchester-based artist, Stanley Chow, to create a series of innovative caricature designs that feature an array of footballing icons. The images are ingeniously incorporated on to classic crew neck T-shirts and feature the inspiring tagline ‘Legends are born, not made.’

Atom Retro’s menswear buyer, Alister Poulton says, “This World Class Collective range is all about capturing the spirit of the beautiful game. Footballing icons spanning different generations are displayed proudly with the ‘Legends are born, not made’ signature to stimulate conversation and camaraderie for like-minded football folk. The nostalgia angle always goes down pretty well.”

Featuring the likes of Bobby Moore who features with a 1966 footnote to commemorate England’s World Cup triumph, George Best and Paul Gascoigne, the World Class Collective T-Shirts range is primed for wear during this summer’s World Cup tournament and beyond.

“The fact the T-shirts feature an eclectic host of footballing stars kind of prompts you to remember your favourite football moments which adds to the nostalgic charm of the garments,” says Alister.

The World Class Collective T-shirt joins the Ben Sherman, Copa and Chunk football themed ranges that are already on sale at Atom Retro.
