The Konix Multisystem is an interesting piece of unreleased and long lost video game hardware. Due to feature just about every form of accessory within, the console was scrapped very early into development. That said, code for unfinished and unreleased games have since surfaced, with the latest being Last Ninja 2.

The Making Of The Untouchables
Although some of its earlier movie licences were rather shoddy, Ocean soon discovered a solid template and made some of the best examples around. Along with Robocop and Batman The Movie, The Untouchables is considered to be one of the best examples of Ocean’s film tie-ins. Here Gary Bracey and James Higgins reveal how the […]

Gaiapolis
Konami’s arcade beat-’em-ups are the stuff of legend, with huge pulling power thanks to licences such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Simpsons. However, the genre quickly began to lose ground when one-on-one fighters like Street Fighter II hit the scene, and were all but killed off when 3D games took over. This is […]

Mike Woodroffe’s software company has been known under several different names over the years, but its the moniker Adventuresoft that many remember most fondly. The company has been responsible for giving the world Simon The Sorcerer, dabbling in horror titles and ensuring Scott Adam’s early adventure games reached the UK. Here we discover how the […]
