Remember last year’s Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega, the plug-and-play Speccy with 1,000 built-in games? It’s back, and this time it’s gone handheld!
The ZX Spectrum Vega Plus is a new piece of hardware which will allow players to take their favourite 8-bit computer games on the move. Like its predecessor, the ZX Spectrum Vega Plus will come with 1,000 built-in games, standard joypad controls and a MicroSD card slot for adding further games. However, it will also feature a rechargeable battery and LCD screen (along with composite TV output).
The crowdfunding campaign for the ZX Spectrum Vega Plus is up now on Indiegogo – £100 will secure you a console in red, white or blue, and the Retro Computers Ltd team is looking for £100,000 on a flexible funding scheme. Let us know whether you’re interested in the comments!
