Atom Retro Go World Cup Crazy with Fab Competition and Prize Give Away

Scarborough, North Yorkshire (PRWEB UK) 12 June 2014

Online clothing retailer Atom Retro hit the back of the net with a fantastic World Cup 2014 competition with big prize give away.

In true attacking spirit, Atom Retro have played a blinder with a cool soccer themed clothing collection within their online store and the introduction of a World Cup 2014 competition. The top prize is a £200 Atom Retro voucher for one lucky winner and runners up prizes of £100 and £50 Atom Retro vouchers.

As Atom Retro Marketing specialist Brian Poulton says, “Anybody would think it was only every 4 years or something! It doesn’t take much to get in the World Cup spirit and we’re just trying to add a little bit of extra fun into the mix. You can get yourself kitted out with some fab retro football gear and take a few moments to try your luck in our competition. We always go for a give away at World Cup time because it adds to the feel good factor and it’s a no-brainer in terms of marketing strategy. It’s also free to enter with big a prize give away… and this is just for the first round!”

Everyone’s a winner in this competition; as an extra incentive every Atom Retro customer that enters the competition will get a discount code for use on their next purchase too. As Brian says, “It’s a win, win really. A quick pass and move from the competition to the discount code and straight through to the checkout to score some fab new gear for the weekend. The competition is not game sensitive, so you can even play in between the matches right through to the 18th June. Although we have done match specific competitions in the past, we think this idea gives us broader scope and appeal to attract the attention of our customers over a wider time scale. We’ve already had a lot of entries already!”.

All you need to do to enter is select the two teams (in no particular order) from each group that you think will qualify for the next round. Enter your name and e-mail address and click submit. Then sit back and enjoy the World Cup.

“We can’t leave the competition open too long simply because the further we get into the games, the more obvious the outcome. We’re giving people a fighting chance as each team will have played at least one game by the time the competition closes,” says Brian.

The competition closing date is the 18th June at 8am BST. Anyone can enter at Atom Retro’s website.

The World Cup kicks off today (Thursday, 12th June, 2014) with host Brazil taking on Croatia.
